Dive into the world of 261 Fearless

Easter Egg Run in Austria

On Thursday before Easter, the 261 Fearless Club in Klagenfurt, Austria, hosted a special event - the annual Easter Egg Run. Despite pouring rain, lots of highly motivated women joined and participated in many fun activities.

More than 50 women (including members and non-club members) gathered on the eastern shore of Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia to take part in the traditional event. Clubs from all over Carinthia made the journey and even guests from the US joined to add some international flair to the event, thus proving that running and 261 Fearless really bring people from all over the world closer together.

Unfortunately the weather conditions turned from good to bad just as the event was about to start, veiling the beautiful and scenic Lake Wörthersee in thick rain and fog - but rain and wind could not dampen the mood of the participants at all.

After the warm-up program everyone had forgotten about the cold and the rain and was eager to conquer the six different stations that had been prepared for the runners. There were fun games like running and balancing eggs on spoons, a mini-Easter-biathlon and more technical exercises like hurdles and strengthening exercises with Thera-bands. The participants who bravely completed the exercises received stamps at each station and could later exchange them for fresh drinks, food and a special Easter surprise bag.

After the exercise part everyone got together in a nearby restaurant and there was plenty of time to chat, eat and enjoy the unique 261 Fearless atmosphere.

This event was not only one of the highlights for the 261 Club in Klagenfurt in spring, but also the kick-off event for the season highlight in August, the Kärnten Läuft-Women’s Run
